2013 Garden Sale

It’s time for the 26th annual Birmingham Farms Flower Sale!

The pricing reflects a considerable savings over regular retail and the proceeds benefit our subdivision.  These are superior quality plants delivered directly to us from the greenhouse. As an added bonus, except where otherwise noted, flats contain 48 plants. (Most flats sold at local retail stores contain only 36 plants.)  Don’t see the plant variety or color you’re looking for? Additional colors and plants are available; there just isn’t room for everything on the form!  If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call.

Order Form – Please print out the form and send your completed order with a check for full payment no later than April 30, 2013.

Make checks payable to: Birmingham Farms Homeowners Association (BFHA).

Send payment and order form to: Terry Segal, 7456 Cathedral, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48301

PICK UP DATE AND TIME

As usual, your plants will be available for pick up at the Bloomfield Hills Schools Doyle Center located at 7275 Wing Lake Road, between 14 Mile and Maple on Sunday May 19 between 10:00-11:30 AM.

PLANT CHANGES

Due to the downy mildew that infected impatiens plants throughout Michigan last year, the greenhouse has decided not to offer regular impatiens. Please consider substituting a different plant this year. The fungus remains in the soil and will continue to affect new plants.  [Note: New Guinea Impatiens is a completely different type of plant.]

The geranium flats offered this year are cultured, not seed. These plants grow larger with more blooms than the seed geraniums, but are slightly more expensive.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need volunteers to help unload the truck and pass out the plants on delivery day! Please check the boxes on the order form if you can help. Bagels, coffee and juice will be provided for volunteers. And remember, volunteers get the first pick of plants!

Thanks for your participation and Happy Spring!
