Attention All Birmingham Farms Seniors – A behind the scene tour of the DIA

We are taking a tour of the Detroit Institute of Arts on Thursday, November 5th. Here are the details.

  •  RSVP by October 28
  • Open to all Birmingham Farms residents, age 50 up
  • Meet in front of the former Kroger store at Maple and Telegraph, next door to Trader Joes between 10:30-10:45.
  • Free transportation via motor coach.
  • Bus will depart from the parking lot at 10:45 am, estimated arrival at DIA at 11:30.
  • Enjoy a complimentary coffee, tea and cookie reception from 11:30-12:30. Additional lunch items can be purchased on own from the DIA cafe.
  • Gallery tour with a museum docent from 12:30-1:15.
  • Behind the scenes tour with Terry Segal, DIA Associate Registrar and Birmingham Farms resident, from 1:30-2:15.
  • Self guided visit of the museum until 3:15 pm.
  • Bus departs museum for return to Bloomfield Hills at 3:30.
  • Minimum of 15, maximum of 25
