Birmingham Farms SAD/Roads – UPDATE We did it!!

Hi folks – We did it!! We thankfully received over 187 signatures and have successfully completed Phase I of the Roads/SAD project! THANK YOU!!

We submitted the paper and online petition pages to Bloomfield Township for acceptance by the Oakland County Road Commission this morning. The collective signatures indicate Birmingham Farms ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) for FREE Cost Estimate to re-surface the subdivision roads.

Please note – it takes approximately 1-2 weeks for signature validation and then another 6 months to provide the Cost Estimate. We are optimistic to have the Cost Estimate available for presentation at our 2017 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October, 17th @ 7pm at the Bloomfield Township Public Library. We will keep you updated as we receive more information from the Township and County Road Commission regarding this endeavor.

A very special thank you to Harvey Babcock and the BFHA Board Members along with the SAD/Roads project team – specifically: Rita Lou Campbell, Rick Goren, Judi Phillips, Leslie Echols, Mark & Susan Cetnar, Mark Charboneau and those volunteers that helped get the word out: Janine Toundaian, Josette Charboneau and Craig & Lauren Necci. Thank you all for your tremendous support and efforts to improve our neighborhood!
